Price Utah 2006 -- The water on the left infiltrated through well aggregated pasture soils in less than an hour. The soil on the right was from beneath a center pivot irrigation system. After 48 hours only about 1/2 inch of water had infiltrated into and percolated through conventionally tilled soils low in organic matter.
